Kolten was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma (an aggressive brain cancer) at age 2.5 in October 2024. His tumor was resected and he developed extremely severe posterior fossa syndrome secondary to surgery which left him unable to move, talk, breathe, swallow. He has made some improvements but is still severely handicapped. He is unable to sit up unassisted. He is currently in treatment for the cancer. He would absolutely love to be able to ride a bike again.
