Hi Friends and Family!
I have entered Hadley into a contest to win a free adaptive bike. Hadley would be a great candidate for an adaptive bike. His sister loves riding bikes and for him to be able to ride his own bike with her would be so awesome! Sometimes something so normal and easy for us is a little more difficult for a person with disabilities and an adaptive bike would bridge that gap for our Hadley. When Hadley was first diagnosed with Autism, I think it took me a while to grieve that there are some things he won't be able to do that "normal" kids can and will do. Every day this boy shows up and works hard on his speech, on writing, and doing the basic things like getting dressed by himself and he keeps surprising us with how capable he is. I am incredibly proud of how far he has come and I will be darned if he doesn't get to ride a bike like his peers this summer.
You can help Hadley win by voting for him or if you donate to the crowdfund and when reach our goal, he will be guaranteed his bike! If he wins, what we raised will help another deserving child get their bike. And help this organization with continuing to provide bikes to children like Hadley.
Our Hadley is such a sweet boy and I wish I could outright buy an adaptive bike for him because he deserves it so much but they are very expensive so we have to take an alternative route to make things happen for him.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Hadley loves being pulled in a wagon behind a bike. In the past, his former school had an adaptive bike and he loved it. I would love for Hadley to be able to ride a bike alongside his sister and friends. It would give him a sense of independence and help him build confidence.
