Asher is an almost 11 year old boy who absolutely loves to play and be around his peers. Having an adaptive bike would allow better interactions with peers greater flexibility in seating options allow him to gain independence and strength along with acceptance.  

Asher is in 5th grade this year. He is the youngest of three brothers. His dad has served in the Marine Corps for 19 years and his mom cares for the kiddos and the farm animals. He was born with a malformed basal ganglia. And was diagnosed with having Spastic Quad Cerebral Palsy. He is all boy. The epitome of happiness. His humor is second to none even tho he is nonverbal he uses electronic devices to communicate. Anyone that is around him can’t get enough of him.

He loves to just be around his peers, People watch or to just sit and listen to you chat with him. He loves feeling included the more he can do like his typical peers the more he flourishes.

Asher grew out of his old bike about a year ago but having access to one at school still kept him happy. Moving to middle school next year and being able to have a bike that is perfect for him would be huge. We would love and appreciate your help.
