Thank you for supporting our Roane, Roaneado, RoaneyToad, and Roaney. Roane is an incredibly active, curious, beautifully unique, loving, ice cream eating, keeps us on our toes, non-verbal 9-year-old. He brings us smiles (and sometimes tears!) each day with his antics and his grand achievements. He has come so far in his short 9 years. Roane uses a "talker" (communication device) to communicate with his friends and family, and we love seeing what new words he tries to approximate each day.

We are a very outdoor-active family, with Roane's sister taking daily bike rides around the neighborhood. Roane watches her leave on her bike, and it saddens our hearts to watch his frustration as his motor skills do not allow him to join in the fun with a typical bike. We pray that Roane will be able to fully participate in a family activity in a way that he hasn’t previously been able to, as well as experience the pure joy of a bike ride with an adaptive bike.

Roane watches her leave on her bike, and we ache for his heart as he's not able to participate. We have longed for Roane to experience the joy of a bike ride with an adaptive bike that would allow him to full enjoy a bike ride experience, as well as participate in a family activity in a way that he hasn’t been able to.
