Help Briar Win!
Briar enjoys being outside so much! It helps regulate him and provides much needed sensory input he craves! He’s able to see, hear and feel so many things this way! It even helps with naps which help his mom, dad and nurses too!
With very limited mobility, we are constantly looking for ways for our family to enjoy the outdoors. We’ve had the same adaptive stroller for almost 6 years! Truthfully, it was one of the hardest things I had to come to terms getting for him. He was still a baby at the time and so tiny and I just wanted him to be in a Graco stroller like everyone else but, he needed the extra support for his little body. Now, at over 40lbs and getting taller, he is outgrowing it very quickly. It’s by far been the MOST used piece of equipment we have. Some days, we’re doing 2-3 walks equaling almost 6 miles a day! As long as it’s not pouring and below 35 degrees, we’re going on walks!
We are so fortunate to live in a state that most things Briar needs medically are paid for by insurance however, it only pays for ONE type of mobility aid AKA his wheelchair which is not exactly made for walks or shielding him from weather. Having the Josi stroller would provide us with many more years of safe and comfortable enjoyment for him as we explore the outdoors since we live in such a beautiful place with a lot of acreage!
We are hopeful with the help of our friends, coworkers and family he may receive enough votes to win and/or be put in a random drawing to win! If you feel led to donate to his personal link, any funds will go directly to helping us purchasing this stroller out of pocket since we will be able to get it at a discounted rate through this giveaway!
