Zion is a very loving non verbal nine year old. A few years ago Zion was diagnosed with epilepsy that triggered a change in his behavior that causes him to self harm majority of the day. The only relief that Zion had from the self harm was when he was apart of the public elementary school where they had adaptive bikes. Due to Zion’s Self injurious behavior he has been removed from school and put in a hospital program that does not any adaptive bikes due to the nature of the program.
