At 9 months old, MeleAna went in for surgery to remove a liver tumor. During the procedure she suffered a brain injury causing global delay, and intractable epilepsy.
Mele loves being outdoors and sitting on her sister bike, but due to her injury, she does not know how to peddle or steer. Mele would absolutely love to be able to ride around with the help of Mom or Dad, so she could join her siblings.

ET2611 Tandem

by Freedom Concepts

For being a bike built for two, the Tandem is both lightweight and easy-to-control. The Cable-Actuated Rear Steering™ system allows the driver to make precise maneuvers and turn sharply from the back. The front rider, whether visually or physically challenged, can still enjoy all the benefits of cycling, including reciprocal movement of the legs and a fresh breeze in their face.
