In 2020, Matéo lost all of his abilities due to his refractory epilepsy. Since then, Matéo has had to relearn everything he was once able to do—speaking, walking, eating and drinking on his own, developing his independence, and more. Matéo now has a little sister who loves riding her bike and playing outside. Due to Matéo’s challenges, it is difficult for us to go out as a family and participate in these kinds of activities. With a special bike, Matéo will also be able to enjoy bike ride.
