Douglas has Down syndrome. He doesn’t have the muscle strength to pedal a bike that is made for a typical child. He is getting too big for the only option of toddler sized scooters. It would benefit him to have an adaptive bike to help him join others on a bike ride. Douglas love’s independence, and having an adaptive bike will help him achieve independence in a safer, attainable way.
